BIR files tax evasion against online company

The Bureau of Internal Revenue filed a tax evasion case at the Department of Justice against an online merchandising company.

Domain merchandising services inc. will be facing tax evasion raps after failing to pay right taxes from 2009 to 2012.

Those included in the tax evasion case are Ma. Milagros Casas, president of DMSI; Estelita Arada, treasurer of DMSI from 2009 to 2011 and Jonalyn Quesada DMSI treasurer in 2012.

In the report of BIR, the officials of the said domestic corporation in Pasig City violated the section 254 and 255 of the national revenue code of 1997.

The corporation owes the government a whopping P77-million in a span of four years. (Judie Anne Abejero)
