Vice President Jejomar Binay continues to throw punches against the President and its administration, now that he’s no longer part of the his Cabinet.
During his visit to the fisher folks in Navotas earlier today, Binay said that as the Housing Czar, he asked President Benigno Aquino III of an additional Five Billion peso housing fund. However, the Vice President was surprised when instead of giving him the said budget, PNOY opted to award the said amount to DILG Secretary Mar Roxas, even if it wasn’t part of Roxas’ job.
The Vice President added that as a former member of the Aquino Cabinet, he remained quiet for five years regarding the flaws of the President.
Asked to comment regarding the President’s reaction on the Vice President during an ambush interview on Thursday, Binay said that it seems that PNOY already forgotten all his contributions to the administration, including the crisis result in the Zamboanga seige and the issue on the Disbursement Acceleration Program.
Meanwhile, when the Vice President was introducing UNA’s interim President and Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco, Binay called Tiangco as the next House Speaker.
