Vice President Jejomar Binay said that he respects the reaction of President Benigno Aquino III wih the former statement that he still hopes for the President’s ‘blessing’ in the 2016 elections.
The president through his statement made it clear that he has nothing to promise Vice President Binay except for a clean and honest elections.
Binay mentioned that he will not insist with his request and instead respects the answer of the President.
Binay and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada led the flag raising ceremony during the Independence Day celebration in Rizal Park, Manila.
Estrada once again said that he wanted to remain as City mayor through re-election than to be Binay’s running mate.
Estrada said he has a lot of plans for Manila to repay the love of people.
