Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on Monday assured that the dismissal of two high-ranking police officers went through due process.

According to the PNP Chief it took the National Police Commission about a year to finalize the dismissal of the generals.
Former National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Chief Supt. Joel Pagdilao and former Quezon City Police District (QCPD) head Chief Supt. Edgardo Tinio were sacked from their posts at the PNP due to “administratively liable” for serious neglect of duty and serious irregularity in the performance of duty.
Pagdilao and Tinio were included in the five narco-generals that President Rodrigo Duterte named in his narco-list.
The two general are now illegible to their benefits from the years they served the police force.
