The barangay hall of Brgy. Sto Tomas, Pasig City was temporarily closed on Tuesday, June 2, after an official tested positive for the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
“Pansamantala munang pinasara ang Barangay Hall ng Sto Tomas para makapag-quarantine ang mga opisyales at empleyado ng barangay,” Pasig City mayor Vico Sotto said in a Facebook post
Sotto said that close contacts of the COVID-19 positive official will undergo polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests to ensure that no one else got infected with the respiratory illness.
For people seeking to acquire a barangay clearance or have other urgent concerns at the said barangay hall, the mayor advised them to go to the Office of the City Administrator at the Pasig City hall.
