After all the hard work, sleepless nights and grinding hours of studying, 1,174 takers of the 2013 Bar examination passed with a graduate of the University of the Philippines claiming top spot with 85.80%.
A total of 5, 292 took the 112th examination. The first bar examination was held back in 1900 with 13 takers.
UP graduate Nielson G. Pangan has the highest score with 85.80%.

Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma on Tuesday congratulated the bar passers.
“Binabati namin sila at nakikiisa kami sa kanilang mga magulang sa pagdiriwang ng kanilang tagumpay,” Coloma said.
