Actress Angel Locsin bags the Best Supporting Actress award at the 57th Asia-Pacific Film Festival in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Locsin was nominated for her performance as Jaica Domingo in the 2016 film “Everything About Her”.
In the film, Angel played a nurse who took care of Vivian Rabaya, played by Vilma Santos, a cancer-stricken career driven woman.
Last July nine, the same film won Vilma Santos the Best Actress award at the first Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards for Movies (EDDY) by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors at the KIA Theater.
The same award giving body that pave way to Angel’s very first Best Supporting Actress trophy.
The actress showed her newly earned trophy via a repost from Star Cinema’s @micodelrosario1’s Instagram account.
