Senator Sonny Angara called the attention of the Public Employment Service Offices to help newly graduates find jobs.
Angara said that based on the studies of the Commission on Higher Education, more than 656 thousand students are graduating this year and it will take them between 18 months to two years to find a job.
According to the Senator, they recently expanded and strengthen the PESOS law, which aims to help a lot of applicants land a job.
One of the jobs of the PESOS is to inform job seekers that there are available positions that they could apply for.
Angara mentioned that the PESOS already helped more than 4.4 million job seekers through its one-stop shop for employers looking for employees in the years’ 2010-2013.
