Airplane makes emergency landing in NAIA due to engine failure

An airplane of Air Asia made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Thursday.

Allan Roque, pilot of Air Asia flight Z2612, called the air traffic control tower of NAIA and asked permission to land due to engine failure.

Roque successfully alighted Airbus A-320, which has 150 passengers and 6 crew members, at NAIA Runway 24 using Emergency Landing Plan 2.

Flight Z2612 was from Davao and is en route to Manila when one of their engines malfunctioned while landing.

No passenger of the Air Asia Flight was injured during the emergency landing.
