9 killed in relaunched ‘drug war’ of PNP

Nine deaths were recorded since the Philippine National Police (PNP) re-activated ‘Oplan Tokhang.’

With ‘Oplan Double Barrel: Reloaded,’ based on the data of the PNP, nine have been killed since Monday.

Meanwhile, 145 were arrested in 103 operations of the PNP in different parts of the country.

More than 1,041 houses were visited by authorities in ‘Oplan Tokhang.’

Aside from the said numbers, 13 individuals voluntarily surrendered and admitted to using illegal drugs.

Prior to this, PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa assured the public that the new drug war will not be as bloody as it was before.
