9 already dead in first 3 days of PNP’s renewed anti-drug war

The Philippine National Police has once again started counting the number of people getting killed, voluntarily surrendering via its “Project Double Barrel Reloaded.”

From March 6 up to March 9, they have conducted atleast 103 Anti-Drug operations.

During the said operations, there have been  nine deaths, 145 arrested drug suspects, and 13 drug surrenderees.

The PNP is also continuing its anti-Illegal Gambling. According to the records of the agency, it has already arrested 2,290 suspects, and confiscated about Php 468,085.

The PNP has already carried out about 9,612 anti-illegal gambling operations

The PNP restarted its war against drugs last Monday. Ever since then, it has already knocked at 1,041 houses for its Oplan Tokhang.

In earlier statements, PNP Chief Director General Ronald Bato Dela Rosa promised that Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded, will be less bloody compared to their earlier anti-drug operations.

Meanwhile, Church officials have rejected the invitation of the PNP to join their Oplan Tokhang. Instead they insist that the Government to halt the anti-drug operations.
