Online English education platform 51Talk marks its 10th year of giving career opportunities to qualified teachers across the nation by launching social media star Maine Mendoza as its new brand ambassador.

The brand formalized the partnership during the online press conference where Maine gaily chatted and answered questions from media guests.

Maine’s bubbly personality, entrepreneurial mindset and diverse interests resonate strongly with the ideals and spirit of 51Talk. 

Country head Jen Que describes Maine as someone who “understands what it’s like to constantly explore endeavors that don’t just pique one’s interest, but also give room for self-improvement,” and these are qualities that embody the teaching partners of this online education platform.

Founder and CEO Jack Huang himself recognizes the exceptional capabilities of Filipinos as the ideal partners for planting the seeds for global progress. 

“This is why the platform continues to open doors for highly-qualified home-based teachers who would appreciate the flexibility of enjoying a rewarding career while still having time for family and other personal interests,” 51Talk said in a statement. 

Part of its 10-year milestones is the rollout of the Third Party Center Accreditation Program (TPCAP) in 2020, which has been immensely supportive to qualified teachers who have no substantial equipment at home. 

More importantly, TPCAP and 51Talk itself were significantly responsible for providing livelihood opportunities to Filipinos who had been displaced when the pandemic hit.

The brand hopes to continuously attract prospective partners who have the right skills and attitude to provide an engaging and personalized learning experience for young Chinese students.
