Two individuals have been named as persons of interest on the death 22-year-old bank employee Mabel Cama.
According to Eastern Police District Dir. Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula, bus driver Randy Oavenada has been considered as a person of interest after repeatedly changing his testimonies regarding the victim’s death.
During Oavenada’s first testimony, he said that he last saw the victim at the Mega Bus Terminal in Barangay Rosario at about 11 p.m. on Friday with two men, but later on proceeded to change his testimony.
Another person of interest is Diolan Asibuchi, who allegedly followed the victim before she was found lifeless on Sunday afternoon.
Cama’s remains were discovered inside the garage of a towing company just 100 meters away from her home in a private compound in Ortigas Avenue Extension, Barangay Rosario
According to police reports, the assailant tried to burn the victim’s body and struck her with a rough object. Her underwear and shorts were later found on the ground near her body.
