Two lucky Filipinas will be joining one hundred people who passed the eliminations for them to explore the planet Mars.
Jaymee Del Rosario, 27 years old and Minerva Ranenes were two of the luckiest individuals among the six hundred candidates who passed the second elimination round.
According to the Mars One Astronaut selection process, 202,586 people from different parts of the world submitted their application to join the Mars One team.
From the remaining 100, 39 are all Americans, 31 from Europe, 16 from Asia which includes the two Filipinas, 7 from Africa and 7 from Oceania.
