15 people injured in multi-vehicle collision in Cavite

At least 15 people were wounded on Monday, April 29, in Carmona, Cavite after a six-wheeler truck collided with six other vehicles near a checkpoint in front of a police community precinct.

According to Carmona Police Chief PMaj. Rommel Carcellar,  the incident in Brgy. Mabuhay, Carmona started after the driver of the truck lost control of its brakes.

The truck hit the vehicles in front of him including  a police mobile, a sports utility vehicle, public utility jeepney carrying 15 passengers and three other cars.

The victims, including a pregnant woman and two children, were brought to a nearby hospital. As of latest reports, all victims are already safe from danger.

Authorities arrested the truck driver, and will be facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting to multiple physical injuries.
