Filipino boxing champion Sen. Manny Pacquiao has not given up on a possible rematch against retired American fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr.
With Chinese billionaire Jack Ma on his side, Pacquiao goaded Mayweather on Sunday, Oct. 27, for another ‘real fight’.
“Floyd Mayweather, if you want a real fight, fight me. If you want an exhibition, my guy, my friend, Jack Ma will take care of you. The real Manny Team,” Pacquiao said in a video posted in his Twitter account.
“Yeah, I’m ready any time, any place. Manny’s team is ready,” added Ma who was doing the mitts with Pacquiao in the video.
Mayweather defeated Pacquaio via unanimous decision during the first fight of the two boxers in 2015. After the bout, the Filipino boxing idol revealed that he faced the American boxer with an injured shoulder.
Since winning the WBA (Regular) welterweight title against Lucas Matthyse in 2018, Pacquiao has been challenging Mayweather to come out of retirement and face him in the boxing ring.
In September, Mayweather announced in his Instagram account that he is working on a possible ‘exhibition’ between him and Pacquiao in Tokyo, Japan.
