Vice President Leni Robredo has already paid the Php 8 million for her counter-protest regarding the alleged cheating during the 2016 elections.
Robredo, along with her legal team and supporters, personally went to the Supreme Court last April 2, and paid the Php 8 million.
The Presidential Electoral Tribunal scheduled the deadline for the Camp of Robredo to pay the Php 8 million last April 14, but they filed an appeal saying that their payment will be delayed.
Based on the order of the PET, the camp of Robredo will pay the additional Php 7 million balance this July 14, to complete the total cost of Php 15 million.
Senator Bongbong Marcos has already paid the more than Php 36 million initial payment, that was ordered by the PET for his electoral protest.
Sen. Marcos is convinced that, through the recounting of votes, it will be revealed that he won the 2016 Vice-Presidential elections.
