Vice President Leni Robredo admitted that it was difficult to complete the Php 8 million installment used to pay for the counter-election protest against former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
According to Robredo, she had to borrow money from her relatives to pay for the counter-protest.
The Vice President has previously asked for an extension of deadline from the Supreme Court in order to collect the needed money.
Robredo admits that going up against the Marcoses is difficult because they have money, and will do anything to return to power.
Based on the directive of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, VP Robredo is ordered to pay Php 15 million while Sen. Marcos needed to pay Php 66 million.
