A video of a baby boy crying inside an enclosed vehicle went viral in the social media.
Based on the Facebook post of netizen Jasper Pascual, the baby, estimated to be two years old, was having difficulty in breathing after being locked inside a silver Toyota Fortuner, with plate number WMI 661.
Pascual said that he was going home when he heard the cries of the baby from a vehicle parked outside Metrowalk, Pasig City.
Initially, the netizen thought that the baby had someone with him inside the vehicle, but, upon closer inspection, he found out that he was alone, and was suffocating since the engine, along with the air-conditioning of the vehicle were turned off.
Pascual sought the help of a security guard to search for the baby’s parents, who were not named throughout the post.
After five minutes, the parents of the baby, who were allegedly partying inside Metrowalk, came out, and were upset at the security guard for calling their attention.
“Pinagagalitan pa niya yung guard kung bakit daw sila pinatawag pa. Kudos kay kuya guard kasi he stand his ground saying ‘di po mam mali po talaga kayo. Pwede po namin kayo ipahuli kasi bata yang iniwan niyo dyan’,” Pascual narrated in his post.
The baby was sweating when he was taken out of the parked vehicle.
Currently, the video has been viewed more than 6.5 million times, and was shared more than 213,000 times.
