Nag-init ang ulo niya

This is the explanation given by Cavite – Philippine National Police (PNP) Provincial Dir. S/Supt. William Segun regarding the actions of Supt. Alex Dimaculangan, who was seen in a video hitting three rookie police with a baseball bat.

According to Segun, Dimaculangan inspected Camp Francis Ferma in Tagaytay City last September, and was upset after discovering that three police officers 1 (PO1s) assigned as duty sentinels abandoned their posts.

Segun also said that Dimaculangan described the three police, whose names have been withheld, as lazy.

Following the incident, Segun confirmed that Dimaculangan had been relieved from his post as Cavite – PNP Chief of Operations, and has been assigned in the police provincial office in order to perform office duties.

Dimaculangan also currently faces criminal charges in the Tagaytay police and an administrative case in the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM).

Meanwhile, Segun also reported that the three police has been re-assigned at separate stations in Gen. Trias, and Imus. They are also being investigated for abandoning their posts.
