A new UFL TV-viewing habit launches on June 3. The United Football League, the nation’s premier football competition, came to an agreement with Sports 5 to begin airing UFL matches four times a week on Aksyon TV.

Immediately after the Challenge Cup break, Philippine football fans can catch their national team heroes showcase their talent against the best football players in the land.

Starting next week, every 8 p.m., from Tuesday to Friday, Filipinos nationwide can witness the highest level of Philippine football.

Despite the change in airing dates of the matches, the UFL schedule remains unchanged, with 1st Division matches will still be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The first match on Tuesday, however, will be aired the evening after in a delayed broadcast, with the same being applied to Thursday’s first game. The 8 p.m. contests played on Tuesday and Thursday will air live on Aksyon TV.

UFL President Randy Roxas expressed his excitement at agreeing to a new TV schedule for local football fans.

“We want the UFL to become a nighttime habit for our fans, so showing televised games four nights a week during primetime will certainly help grow our fan base,” said Roxas.
