Typhoon Karen has left more than 24, 600 individuals stuck in 316 evacuation centers in the country.
In a report of Mina Marasigan, National Disaster Risk reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) spokesperson, around 193 houses are partially and totally damaged particularly in Regions I, II and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) allocated Php2.2 million worth of relief assistance to affected families in Regions II, III and V.
An estimation of around Php572 million worth of damage in agriculture, particular in palay, corn, livestock and high value crops in CAR and Region V including the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Catanduanes and Sorsogon.
Electric and water supplies remain suspended in some barangays and towns in Regions I, II, III, V, VII and CAR.
