The collapse of two electric posts caused a build-up of traffic early Tuesday, August 13, along the boundary of Manila City and Caloocan City.
Aside from the traffic, Brgy. Chairman Aladdin Cuevas said that the collapse of the electric posts along R. Papa street also caused some households to lose electricity.
Per reports, the electric posts collapsed after being hit by a passing truck. The driver of the vehicle allegedly fled from the area in fear of being mobbed by the residents.
Personnel from the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) arrived at the area to cut the affected electric cables and to remove the electric posts blocking the road.
