Trust, approval ratings of Prez Duterte went up in December poll

The approval and trust ratings of President Rodrigo Duterte went up in a survey conducted by Pulse Asia Research from Dec. 14 to Dec. 21, 2018.

Based on the Pulse Asia survey, the President received a 81% approval rating, nine percent higher compared to a survey conducted last September. Duterte also got a 76% trust rating, four perecent higher compared to the previous survey.

The approval rating of Vice President Leni Robredo also went up from 61% to 62%, but her trust rating remained at 56%.

The approval rating of Senate President Vicente Sotto III also went up by one percent from 73% to 74%, and he also sustained the 66% trust rating.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo received the lowest trust rating and approval rating among the four officials. The approval rating of the congresswoman only reached up to 27% while her trust rating reached up to 21%.

Pulse Asia Research conducted the survey thru face-to-face interviews with 1,800 respondents age 18-years old and above.
