Senator Antonio Trillanes on Wednesday, June 13 shrugged off Davao City Mayor and Presidential Daughter Sara Duterte’s threat against him and remained firm in his claim that President Rodrigo Duterte nudges Inday Sara to run in the 2022 presidential race.

Hindi ko na lang siguro papatulan ‘yan, I don’t have time for that,” Trillanes said to the reporters in the Senate.

However, Inday Sara may have the final words to say despite the Senator’s refusal to continuously engaged with their word war. In her recent Instagram post, Sara called Trillanes a coward and a disgrace.

May time ka magpresscon pero wala ka na time kapag sinagot ka na. Hindi ako naniniwala dati sa sinasabi nila pero paniwala na ako, you are a coward,” Sara said. She also added, “I do not know why you became a soldier and a Senator. Such a disgrace.”

The word war between the two officials fired up when Trillanes made a statement that President Duterte pushes Inday Sara to run for the presidential post for the perpetuity of their family’s power and authority. However, Sara clapped back on her Facebook page saying that Trillanes should leave her alone in Davao city.
