The Light Rail Transits (LRT) Line 1 and 2 announced that they will have no operations from Maundy Thursday, April 18, until Easter Sunday, April 21, in observance of the Lenten season.
The management of LRT-2 also said that they will implement shortened operations on Holy Wednesday, April 17. They announced that the last train from Santolan station will depart at 7:00PM, while the last train from Recto station will depart at 7:30PM
Meanwhile, the managment of LRT-1 will be extending their operations from Holy Monday, April 15, to Holy Wednesday.
During the said dates, trains going to Baclaran station in Pasay City will run from 4:30AM to 10:15PM while trains going to Roosevelt Station in Quezon City will run from 4:30AM until 10:00PM.
LRT-1 and LRT-2 will conduct maintenance activities for their systems during the four-day shutdown of operations from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.
Earlier, the Metro Rail Transit System Line-3 also announced that they will have no operations from Holy Monday until Easter Sunday.
All three train lines will resume normal operations starting April 22.
