The Supreme Court, serving as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, axed Vice President Leni Robredo’s motion to junk the poll protest filed against her by former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

Based on the resolution issued by PET, Robredo’s appeal was dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction and for being insufficient in form and substance.

Robredo won the VP seat against Marcos in the 2016 national elections.

However, Marcos claims that he was cheated by Robredo.

In line with the election protest filed by Marcos, Robredo made an appeal to PET to junk the said case and insisted that these are all wild accusations from the former Senator.
