Supporters of Morsi face life sentence in prison

Eleven supporters of former Egypt President Mohammed Morsi are facing lifetime imprisonment after a tight crackdown operations of the interim government and military against Morsi’s supporters.

Those sentenced to life imprisonment were civilians sabotaging armored vehicles, burning churches and attacking soldiers.

The Court also ordered the shutdown of four television stations, including a station owned by the Muslim Brotherhood, a former ally of the former President.
