Sto. Tomas Pangasinan gets Guinness World Records anew

Santo Tomas, Pangasinan Mayor Timoteo Villar III expressed so much joy after his town hit the Guinness world record for ‘Longest lines of tables’ recognition again.

The Mayor described the award as a result of discipline, unity and hard work of his constituents’ for the success of their application in the said world record.

Residents organized the six kilometer long tables last April 2, 2017.

Prior to this, Alexandria, Egypt held the record with 4.3-km.

In 2008, Sto. Tomas won the record of the longest barbecue set-up with 3,803.96 meters interconnected grills.
