Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena will be visiting the Philippines from January 15 – 19, said the latter’s Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday, Jan. 11.
During his state visit, Sirisena will attend a bilateral meeting with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday, Jan. 16, to discuss areas of mutual interest; including political, economic, cultural and people-to-people engagement.
The president of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka will also visit the Asian Development Bank in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, and the International Rice Research Institute in Los Banos, Laguna during his four day visit in the Philippines.
