Dasmarinas Cong. Elpidio Barzagais asking the National Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice to hasten its investigation against the issue of bribery involving Chinese national, Wang Bo.
According to Barzaga, it would be a slap to the Philippines’ ego if the suspected Chinese gambling lord will be acquitted from the said issue.
The solon added that it’s not impossible for Wang to escape from this dilemma because his alleged syndicate in China is worth 13 Billion Yuan.
Barzaga is convinced that officials from the Bureau of Immigration were paid for Wang to escape deportation.
Justice Secretary Leila De Lima personally noticed that the implementation of the Deportation Order against Wang was taking a while, because the suspect was able to file a Motion for Reconsideration.
Meanwhile, the government will get the short hand of the deal as soon as the Bangsamoro Basic Law’s ratified.
Magdalo Partylist Rep. Ashley Acedillo said that the Moro Islamic Liberation Front is right when it stated that there won’t be a part 2 of decommissioning until the passage of the BBL.
Acedillo added that based on the timetable of the normalization annex, the phase 2 or 30 percent decommissioning will be done when the BBL has been confirmed.
The lawmaker went on further stating that this only shows that the MILF are the better negotiators than the government.
Malacanang is forcing Congress to approve the BBL in exchange of a measly 30 percent firearms of the MILF.
Acedillo insisted that under the BBL, the MILF got the better deal because they will have their own government, own territory, separate police and billions and billions of funds, while getting to keep 65 percent of their weapons. (with DZRH Leth Narciso-Abinales)
