Collegiate Basketball player Ricci Rivero on Monday denied reports that he has found another home after his departure with the De La Salle University Green Archers.
A member of Gilas 23 for 2023 confirmed that his focus now is with Gilas and that though there have been schools interested in getting his services, he has yet to talk to any of them.
His departure with the green archers was confirmed a few months after his former alma mater announced that together with his brother Prince and teammate Brent Paraiso took a leave of absence from playing in the UAAP.
The three had endorsement deals which they needed to fulfill, while DLSU doesn’t allow their players to accept any endorsements.
In an interview, Rivero said that he is more likewise to gear towards a school that will be able to make use of his talents.
Rivero also denied reports that he is moving to the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers, whose new coach is former Green Archers’ coach Aldin Ayo.
