Relieved Caloocan cops to undergo retraining this October

The relieved officers of the Caloocan City Police will be undergoing retraining this October, says National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Director Oscar Albayalde.

The Caloocan police force was temporarily replaced with members of the Regional Public Safety Battalion while over 1,000 Caloocan cops will undergo retraining and reorientation at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City starting Monday, October 2.

Chief Albayalde dismissed the entire Caloocan City Police Force on September 15 following its consecutive blunders particularly on the death of teenagers Kian Loyd Delos Santos, Carl Angelo Arnaiz, and Reynaldo De Guzman.

Just this month, 15 Caloocan cops were dismissed from duty after being caught robbing the home of a 51-year-old woman and bagging an estimate of Php 26,000 worth of materials and cash.
