Angel Locsin is really an epitome of a “real-life Angel.”
The actress and his fiance, film producer Neil Arce trended on social media over the weekend after netizens spotted them buying food supplies and showing support to the families of the quake-hit regions of Mindanao.
In a post, Senator Richard “Dick” Gordon, said that Locsin and Arce both went to the Davao del Sur chapter of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), an organization that provides humanitarian aid, to extend help and also visit the victims of the series of earthquakes.
Locsin also made headlines last month when she decided to skip the annual ABS-CBN Ball and just directly donate to the beneficiaries of the Bantay Bata foundation.
This is not the first time that netizens have pointed out how Angel is a “real-life Darna.”
In 2013, Locsin used social media to call for help for the victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda. She also put up her “dream car,” a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, up for auction, during a Sagip Kapamilya online auction.
In 2017, the actress was seen handing out food packs and school supplies to the victims of the Marawi siege in Mindanao.
