Local oil companies will implement a Php 0.90 per liter price hike on Tuesday, March 12.
Shell Philippines, Petro Gazz Philippines, SeaOil Philippines, Total Philippines, PTT Philippines, Jetti Petroleum, Flying V, Eastern Petroleum, and Petron Corporation announced that the price adjustment will take effect at 6:00AM.
Caltex Philippines said that they will implement the price increase at 12:01AM.
There have been no announcements on price adjustments for diesel and kerosene.
The Department of Energy (DOE) said that, currently, the price of gasoline in the Philippines averages between Php 45.25 to Php 60.89 per liter, while diesel averages between Php 41.40 – Php 50.23 per liter.
Meanwhile, kerosene averages betweem Php 44.90 – Php 53.45 per liter.
