President Rodrigo Duterte leads the latest pulse survey for the most trusted government official that was conducted a month ago.
During the said survey, the President recorded the highest approval rating, 82%, amongst all the top officials of the government, while 13% remains undecided and 5% are not content with the performance of the President.
Duterte got 80% in Metro Manila, 75% in Luzon, and 95% in Mindanao.
However, the approval rating of the President in the Visayas fell by 2% from 86% last March to 84%.
Duterte was followed by Vice President Leni Robredo who scored 61% and Senate Pres. Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III who scored 62%.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez got an approval rating of 43% and Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno scored 48%.
The survey was carried out from June 24 up to June 29, one month after Pres. Duterte declared Martial Law all over Mindanao, and suspended the Writ of Habeas Corpus in the region due to the violence sparked by the Islamic State – linked Maute terror group.
