Cops who would rather air their sentiments over social media are being asked to resign instead.

This was the declaration of Police Chief Dir. Gen. Oscar Albayalde after being able to identify the cops who criticized and bashed him in social media.

According to Albayalde, he already ordered the 20 cops to report to him in Camp Crame on Tuesday.

The Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management also issued an order that will investigate and maybe, charged the said cops of Insuburdination.

Albayalde insisted that there is an existing Grievance System in the PNP wherein cops can file their complaints.

The said issue stemmed from the Facebook pace “Buhay Lespu” wherein these so-called cops cursed at Albayalde for axing their fellow policemen who were caught sleeping and or drinking while on duty, when he was still the head of the NCRPO.

These cops were identified amid using the names of their relatives.  On Friday, Albayalde was in Baguio City to meet with high-rank officials of the PNP in the Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative region.
