The Philippine National Police will seek the help of the court to allow it to exhume what is believed to be the remains of Reynaldo De Guzman.

According to PNP-CIDG NCR Chief Sr. Supt. Wilson Asueta, as soon as the court issues the said order, they will immediately exhume the said body.

Asueta added that they will continue their investigation so that they can create a concrete case against Eduardo Gabriel and Lina De Guzman, the parents of Reynaldo.

The PNP stands firm on the result of the DNA testing it conducted against the body that was found floating in a creek in Nueva Ecija, that it does not belong to Reynaldo.

The PNP CIDG sent some of its members at the wake of Reynaldo in Cainta, Rizal to retrieve the body, but they were barred from doing so by the parents of the 14 year old boy.
