PNP intensifies police visibility vs motorcycle riding-in-tandem

Checkpoint

The Philippine National Police was quick to allay fears of the public of the growing crimes of motorcycle ‘riding-in-tandem’ in Metro Manila and other areas as more policemen are deployed to battle these crimes.

PNP Chief Supt. Reuben Cindac told dzRH in an interview that policemen are being deployed and paired as ‘riding-in-tandem’ to prevent the growing crimes of motorcycle riding criminals.

Una-una yung mga tactical motorcycle riding unit,” Cindac said.

He added that more police visibility has been ordered to protect the public from these criminals, adding that random 24/7 checkpoints are being added by the PNP.

Cindac also asked the Land Transportation Office to release sufficient plate numbers for motorcycles.
