Philippine National Police (PNP) Director Gen. Ronald Dela Rosa has tasked his men to be on full alert for tomorrow’s All Saints Day.
The order was to ensure the safety and security of the citizens who will be visiting their deceased loved ones in cemeteries.
Police checkpoints are expected to be set up at different cemeteries to accommodate the needs of the people.
Dela Rosa said that he expects the entire police force to be a hundred percent present throughout the entire region to strengthen the monitoring in all commercial establishments against any possible threats or attacks.
On Monday, the Philippine Coast Guard reported that over 20,000 passengers travelled via boat while more are expected to travel today.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippine has also conducted its very own “Oplan Undas 2017” to secure passenger safety in 39 commercial airports in the country.
