PNP Chaplain Service personnel tests positive for COVID-19

A personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chaplain Service tested positive for the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

PMaj Duds Santos, point person of the PNP General Hospital, confirmed on Wednesday, March 25, that the patient is confined at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig.

Nakalabas na siya ng ICU (intensive care unit) yesterday,” Santos said.

Santos said that the patient has no travel history but came in contact with two foreign nationals from Europe three weeks ago.

The patient had direct contact with at least seven other PNP Chaplain Service personnel, who were subjected to 14 day self-quarantine from March 8 to March 22.
