The Philippine has lifted the temporary ban on deploying OFWs in Thailand.
The said order was based on the issued resolution no. 5 of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
The lifting of the deployment ban stems from the lowering of the crisis alert level from the Department of Foreign Affairs.
A few months ago, the Philippines ordered a deployment ban on OFWs because of the tension in Thailand between its government and the opposition group.
Thailand has also declared a state of emergency in Bangkok and its nearby areas due to the said tension.
