For its opening salvo, on January 30 happening at the Mall of Asia Concert grounds is FUSION. The first-ever Filipino music festival, a smorgasbord of Filipino artists, fans will have a feast watching their favorites like Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc 9 and many more in one stage. This could also be Kamikazee’s last act as the group announced that they will be parting ways for the mean time to focus on their individual careers.
For an early Valentine treat, Michael Buble will serenade them at the MOA Arena the day after, January 31.
The month of love, February will be very busy not just for lovers but also those who enjoy listening to Neyo (February 2), The Vamps (February 01), New Found Glory (February 08), T-Pain (February 10) and the list goes on.
However, come February 13-14, it doesn’t matter whether you’re in love or looking for love or just wanting to have some fun because there will be lots of shows to choose from. There’s Reunited in Love, The Greatest Hits (February 13), Boyce Avenue (February 14), A Love Affair with The New Minstrels Divos and Ms Pilita Corales (February 14), An Evening with the OPM Legends (February 10), and Ultimate with Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, and Lani Misalucha (February 13).
When graduates are busy preparing for their graduation, most of us will be marching to concert venues as March concert line-up will blow everybody’s top off. One of the biggest acts to grace the Philippine concert scene, performing for two sold-out nights, british boy group One Direction will finally meet the Filipino “Directioners” on March 21-22. But before that, Ed Sheeran will serenade the women first on March 12 and rockers will head bang to Incubus’ music on March 13.
April will definitely not be boring as the start of the summer break, fans are free to enjoy seeing in the flesh their favorite bands in Pulp Summer Slam XV (April 25), Wanderland Music and Art Festival (April 25), Summer Siren Festival (April 17-19), and or chill to the music of The Script (April 17), and Demi Lovato (April 30).
And as for Kpop lovers, something big await you guys on April 12. Dubbed as “Kpop’s Best of the Best in Manila”, the teaser alone is enough for fans of salivate in anticipation on who could be performing at the Philippine Arena. Will it be Super Junior, Girl’s Generation, GOT7 and Red Velvet? Your guess is as good as mine.
