PCG: More than 100 passengers remain stranded in various ports

More than 100 passengers are stranded in various ports as of Wednesday.

Based on the data of the Philippine Coast Guard, as of 8:00AM, a total of 183 passengers are stranded at ports in Palawan, and Bicol.

Most of the stranded passengers, 75, are at the Pasacao port in Camarines Sur, while 51 stranded passengers are at the El Nido pier in Palawan.

Meanwhile, four sea vessels are also stranded at ports in Palawan, and Bicol, while six motor bancas are stranded in the Southern Tagalog area.

The PCG further reminded their units regarding the strict implementation of guidelines regarding the suspension of travel by sea vessels due to heavy weather, contained in Memorandum Circular No. 02-13.
