PBA Journeyman Jay Washington shoots 5,000th

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters Forward Jay Washington can’t contain his happiness after PBA Commissioner Chito Narvasa gave the game ball to the 35-year old basketball player.

PBA is honoring the journeyman for scoring 5,000 points in his whole basketball career.

Washington is the first player of Rain-or-Shine to receive such achievement. He is also the 83rd player in the whole PBA, and 79th local player to achieve the said feat.

The two-time Best Player of the Conference shot his 5,000th point in the last two minutes and 45 seconds of the 2nd Quarter during the game between ROS and Mahindra Floodbusters last night.

In the said game, the Elasto Painters defeated Mahindra with a score of 99-95. Currently, Rain-or-Shine has two wins, and no loss in the continuing 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
