The Pasay City Police is investigating four new persons of interest in connection to the death of Grab driver Gerardo Maquindato.

The first three passengers of the victim were proven innocent.

According to Police Deputy Chief for Operations Supt. Gene Licud, they are investigating the four persons of interest based on the history trips of Grab and the CCTV footages that they passed through.

The police is also checking the reasons for the trips and whether the bookings were successful or cancelled.

Last October 26, Maquindato was killed by still unidentified suspects who pretended to be passengers.  Maquindato’s body was dragged out of his silver Toyota Innova car, and the suspects drove off with the said car, leaving the victim behind.
