Bobby Ray Parks sustained an injury during a pre-NBA draft workout which may jeopardize his dream of making it to the most famous Basketball league in the world.
Parks was elbowed in the face during the first half of their exhibition game at the Brooklyn Nets, causing a big scar that required stitches.
For a lot of talent scouts and Jazz Vice President of Player Personnel Walt Perrin, Parks is a mystery because he never played in college basketball in the US.
Aside from the Nets, Parks and his fellow hopefuls will also be playing at the Dallas Mavericks’ camp, Boston Celtics, and Atlanta Hawks.
Perrin said that the former UAAP MVP needs to improve on the defense department for him to have a fighting chance in the NBA.
