The traffic enforcers in Paranaque were removed from the roads by the Metro Manila Development Authority and the city government as the city implements its ‘no contact apprehension system’, which uses surveillance cameras.

The said system seeks to resolve the traffic problems in Metro Manila.

A total of 20 high tech closed circuit television cameras were scattered in the roads of Paranaque, and can automatically detect traffic violations while taking a clear picture of the plate number

Other than traffic monitoring, the surveillance cameras can also be used to monitor the peace and order in Paranaque.
