Pacquiao trains for Broner fight even amidst holiday celebrations

Boxing Idol Manny Pacquiao has officially started his training in the United States of America for his fight against American boxer Adrien Broner on January 19, 2019.

Per reports, Pacquiao went jogging at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, Califronia before continuing his workout at the Wild Card Boxing Gym at Hollywood on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Pacquiao had also reunited with his long-time trainer Freddie Roach, who will serve as a consultant for the Filipino champion’s fight against Broner.

Pacquiao’s long-time friend Buboy Fernandez will serve as the Filipino senator’s head trainer, while Justine Fortune will remain as his strength and conditioning coach.

Pacquiao will seek to defend his WBA Welterweight Regular title from Broner during the January bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.

The 40-year old Filipino champion arrived a Los Angeles on Dec. 22. Prior his departure from the Philippines, Pacquiao also trained in General Santos City, and in Pasay City.
