Ozamiz PNP seized Php 100 M worth of shabu

10 kilograms of shabu worth Php 100 million was apprehended by the Ozamis Philippine National Police (PNP) in separate drug operations against suspected supporters of slain Ozamiz City Mayor  Reynaldo Parajinog who was tagged as the region’s drug lord.

According to Ozamiz Police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido, they were able to seize two of the six targetted individuals who were meant to be arrested with the virtue of a search warrant.

Authorities identified the arrested individuals as husband and wife Melodin at Gaudencio Malingin, who were caught hoarding eight kilos of suspected shabu.

Meanwhile, in a separate police operation, law enforcers were able to seize two kilos of suspected shabu in the home of Michael Parojinog Gumapac.

Another police raid in the residence of Manuelito, Rizalina, and June Francisco led authorities to apprehend one M-4 Boost Master, 3 short M-16 magazines, one bandolier, ammunition, 2 rifle grenade launcher, and three bullets of an M-203 grenade.

The three suspects, however, escaped arrest and are currently being located.

At the home of Ricardo Parojinog, cops apprehended a M-16 rifle, ammunition, and one grenade. Ricardo is the brother of slain Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parajinog.

The separate police operations were conducted at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
